A five-minute guide
Stacking rings is the fastest way to personalize a signature look. It's also the easiest to overdo. Five rules that most people haven't been told.
The rules
Rule 1
Think of a stack like a sentence. One statement anchor, 1-2 thinner supporting bands, optional accent. 2-4 rings per finger, max.
Rule 2
A 4mm dome next to a 1mm hairline band = instant balance. Three matching-width bands = chunky band. Width contrast first.
Rule 3
Stack on one finger (or two adjacent). Ring on every finger looks accidental. One loaded finger + a pinky accent works.
Rule 4
Mixing gold and silver is fine — but on different fingers. Commit to a team per stack.
Rule 5
Three rings take more finger-room than one. Anchor = your true size. Supporting = 0.5 up. If knuckle movement stops, stop stacking.
Try it
Rosa Signet (anchor, pinky) + Vesta Dome (supporting, same finger) + one hairline band. Three pieces, one finger, instant signature.
Pro tip
Measure finger width at the knuckle, not the base.
Rings need to clear the knuckle to get on. Sizing to the middle of the finger is a common first-ring mistake — the ring spins all day.
